For
the last decade, Patrick A. Horton and The Story Coach -
Practical Magic seminars and services have had five
interconnected key objectives shared in tandem with Wind
& Thunder Productions that include:

Enhancing
the individual and collective abilities of all media
professionals in generating creatively and commercially
viable story and media projects |
| 2) |
Enhancing
the abilities of media professionals in both navigating
and impacting the media industry as they go |
| 3) |
Providing
innovative strategies and resource development for
proactively impacting the changing media industry and
changing world at large |
| 4) |
Taking
the respective and combined powers of story and media to
non-media industry arenas as integral components of
strategic planning and development, social
entrepreneurship, personal development, and applied social
change |

Specifically
bringing the tools and power of story to youth, families,
and marginalized populations to help transform their
understanding and ability to effectively navigate a
changing world as they proactively define their voice and
place in it |
| These
endeavors occur in part through trainings, forums, articles online, and live events under the banner of The
Story Coach / thestorycoach.com.
They
will expand their visibility and impact through related
publications, DVD production, and documentary work under
the Wind & Thunder Productions banner, and in all
instances serve as
demonstration projects for enhancing and merging the power
of story, media, social science, and applied social
change.
